Thanks to everyone that participated in the 2015 Maritimes Orienteering Festival. We hope you enjoyed yourselves - we certainly enjoyed hosting you. As you look back on the good times and the great friends you enjoyed we urge you to look forward to next year's Canadian Championships in Alberta July 23 - August 1. Hope to see you there!
www.coc2016.ca Facebook page will be the same as this year's COCs (you probably already like us ;-) And here's a short preview of the event: Hey folks - one event left at the 2015 Maritime Orienteering Champs - Fishbones #3 at Debert. Slight change of plans - instead of a chasing start, everyone will mass start at 10:00. See you Sunday.
GOLD CUP PARADE IN CHARLOTTETOWN
Be sure to leave your accommodation in plenty of time to get to Brookvale on time. The Gold Cup parade is in Charlottetown on the 21st and starts at 10am. There are road closures. We suggest leaving 20 min earlier than planned to deal with any traffic/road closure issues. If you are staying in Charlottetown, we suggest taking University Avenue or Mt. Edward Road to get out of town. Road closures will be in place starting at 7 am. Click here for detailed info regarding road closures. Check the "Results" page for the latest updates, including the University of PEI Sprint results & course maps
NOTICE: CHANGE OF LOCATION FOR THURSDAY'S COC SPRINT QUARANTINE
You must still arrive and be in the quarantine by 09:45! Quarantine has moved off the soccer field (too hot -- no shade) into one of the gyms near the race arena. Watch for signs directing you when you arrive. Parking and access routes have not changed. We will have access to the indoor track for warmups. Check out the "Results" page for links to the latest results
Race packages will be available to be picked up at the following locations:
