SASS PEEPRE NATIONAL JUNIOR TRAINING CAMP - July 31 is next registration deadline.
The annual Sass Peepre National Junior Orienteering Training Camp will be from August 17 - 19. Take advantage of the regular registration rate - register your kids by July 31.
More info: coc2015.ca/sass-peepre-junior-camp.html
The Sass Peepre Camp (SPC) is intended for orienteers aged 11-20 and all levels of experience from beginner to advanced. Beginners should have tried at least a few orienteering events before. This year the camp will run out of the Broadleaf Guest Ranch, 10 minutes from Hopewell Rocks. SPC 2015 is a great opportunity for young orienteers to connect with their peers from across Canada and the US while enjoying some terrific training.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
We are a small organizing committee and organizing the Canadian Orienteering Championships is a big job. If you are able to volunteer in some capacity during the Maritime O Festival, we would be most grateful. Even volunteering just one day is a-ok. And yes you can still run your race. We are looking for people to help with:
- · the start crew
- · the finish crew
- · the site set-up or take-down crew
- · the refreshment table
- · announcing - help us do the play by play in the arena
- · registration package pick-up
- · award ceremonies
